how to.

How to make peach pie oats.

1. Make a peach pie.

(1 of 7)

2. Make a batch of Scottish Oats.

(2 of 7)

3. Top oats with peach pie.

I mean…there is leftover pie in the fridge.  What do you expect? ;)  Don’t forget to add a nice big glob of peanut butter under the pie!  Topped with banana + cacao nibs too!

mmmm best oats all summer!

(3 of 7)

How to put your refrigerator in a wrap.

1. Grab a wrap and any veggie/fruit/hummus/etc. out of your fridge.

(4 of 7)

2. Slice it anyway you like.  I really enjoyed this matchstick chopping approach!

(5 of 7)

3. Roll, cut, consume and enjoy.  I think this was my favorite wrap ever!!  So glad I stuffed the millet inside :)

(6 of 7)

Fridge Wrap:

  • mixed greens
  • leftover millet
  • avocado
  • hummus
  • carrots
  • cucumber

And the busy day continues!!!!!  Time to start packing the kitchen…weeeee

Leftover pie tastes even better...good idea throwing it on oats!

Yum! Brilliant way to use up leftover pie, if you ask me. I'm actually in the process of making apple fruit bars, I think you're pie from the other day inspired me.

That wrap also looks so yummy--cutting veggies in that way makes a lot of sense for a wrap because then they won't fall out as much :)

I love the simplicity of wraps :)

As I was thinking this morning, I am making that peach pie this weekend - no way around it - I then thought, what are we going to do with the leftovers? And of course, you answered that for me! LOVE the idea and now want to make the pie more for that than anything else! LOL

Now those look like my kind of wrap!: Lots and lots of filling and no overlapping of the wrap itself, well... some overlapping has to occur, but minimal is best! I really dislike going to a restaurant and ordering a wrap (not just because of the ingredients in the toritilla itself...) because it has almost no filling and then the wrap is folded into itself like six times! It's all dough and no vegetable goodness! Haha.

Those are some tasty looking eats. I don't know if I could do peaches, PB anddd cocoa together, but I love all three separately. Best of luck with dreaded packing.
