what have I been up to lately?
October 30, 2011 Stopping by for a quick Sunday hello, to fill you in on what I’ve been up to lately.
Our winter farmers market started this weekend, which I am extremely excited about. The produce offerings will soon die down, so I jumped on the chance to pick up a few fall favorites.
Kelsey came along too!

About 1.5 months ago we bought a giant box filled with peaches, and now it’s on to apples.
Imperfect apples to be exact.
Hardly anything imperfect about these babies.
Especially the price. 20lbs for $20!! We split them right down the middle. What a deal! Don’t expect too many apple recipes though. My favorite way to eat apples is whole!
After the market, I headed on a drive to check out a few spots for a few upcoming photography sessions.
I love the slightly gloomy, wintery look. Today is a different story though. Nothing but sunshine!
We’re hoping to get a bike ride in, do some things around the house and then I have an engagement shoot.
And speaking of shoots, here are some photos from my latest sessions.
Colleen + Riley – expecting their little one in just a few weeks!
Logan, Karlee + Dominic – Love these kiddos, who belong to one of my very best friends back home.
What a face!
Olivia + Sammy – Another adorable family, I shot while back in Ohio.
Alan, Sherie, AJ + Jenna – My lovely aunt, uncle + cousins back home. The colors were incredibly vibrant that day!

You can catch more photos, from all of these sessions, over at Ashley McLaughlin Photography. Now it’s time to get started on a fall inspired recipe, head out for that bike ride, and then to the engagement shoot. Enjoy the day!

Your photos are so wonderful! :) My favorites are the ones of Olivia and Sammy! Their eyes look so cool!
Your shots are so amazing! Have you written a post about your journey to becoming a photographer as a job? I would love to learn more!
It's lovely to see you doing something that you love!
your post just inspired me to look up a winter farmer's market in chicago! ours shut down for winter this summer... never even though there might be cold-weather options.
your photos are beautiful :)
Your people photos are just as gorgeous as your food photos! And I'm so jealous of your winter market. We don't have one!
Thank you so much Kaitlyn!
