juice to the rescue

I had the most vivid dream last night.

I ran a 1/2 marathon on an indoor track and PR’d.

I’ve only run one 1/2 marathon and it wasn’t on an indoor track.  I’m not signed up for races, and am not even running right now.  Maybe it was something to do with waiting to see the finish line with all the painting?  Who knows!

Either way, when I woke up, I felt like I had run a marathon.  I could have slept for hours more, but needed to start my day!  My body felt tired, but in a need to stretch it out, kind of way.  I contemplated swimming.  Good idea?  Bad idea?  Would it make my arms to tired for more painting?  After making breakfast and doing some computer things, I decided to give it a go.

I’m so glad I did.  It took a few laps to wake my body up, but my muscles are feeling much looser and relaxed!  We’ll see what I’m saying when I pick up the paint roller though!

When I got home, I was craving JUICE.

Orange Carrot Cuc Juice

  • 3 medium carrots
  • 1 peeled orange [2-3 clementines would work too]
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2c spinach

This juice was just what I needed and it tasted great!! Definitely one of my favorites!  I decided to forego the lemon/ginger/apple for once, and the change up was delicious!

I’m 100% re-energized.  The white walls are calling my name!

This looks so wonderfully bright and vibrant! I've been on an orange kick lately -- I used to dispise them after a near-fatal choking incident when I was three -- but we've settled our differences, oranges and I. I'd be tempted to put some almonds/almond butter in this!

I wish I had a running dream- I had a dream I was suddenly 9 months pregnant and about to give birth at home. Horrifying!!

I love carrot juice -- and the color of yours is so vibrant!!!

I'm glad the swimming helped loosen you up -- I'm not a swimmer (can't hold my breath under water without plugging my nose!) but is something I want to start doing.

That is officially the best dream! The only way it'd be bettered would be if you ran a full in your dream..how cool would that be!?
I'm so jealous when you talk about swimming :/ I miss it!

The juice is beautiful. I felt like I ran a marathon when I got up this morning too...and in the not so good way of sleeping like total crap. Good luck conquering those walls!

I just got a juicer a month ago, and it's still sitting in the box! I need to break it out- your juices look amazing!
