Day 1

We're currently sitting outside with gorgeous mountain views all around. The Head and the Heart is currently on stage. Its my first time listening to them...so far so good!

We made it in last night without any problems and got our tent and things organized. Our good friends, Ali and Hovan (jon) already had a prime camping spot picked out. They came on Monday. When they got back to camp last night they informed us they just got engaged! Hovan proposed while they were here on a morning mountain bike ride! So cute and so excited for them!

We woke up this morning with weird bugs on the tent and quickly realized they are wood ticks. Bah! Not the kind that carry lyme disease though, but still super gross. Gag.

The nights are freeeezing but i stayed decently warm. By 8:30 the sun was beating in and we woke up to a gorgeous day. Ann and Kurtz showed up this morning too. Nice little group but missing nat + pat!

Photo time! Also, i apologize for typos... I have wide thumbs and no nails for letter tapping...hehe

The site location couldnt be anymore breathtaking. We're takng a little break in a super cool coffee shop right downtown. Cold nights but searing sun during the day, so the break is nice. The coffee shop is called Steaming Bean Coffee Co. They have a delicious sounding menu that even features housemade kale chips and tamales....mmmm Im currently sipping on an iced coffee and relaxing on a couch. Good times. :)

See you sometime tomorrow!
