After my walk, I got to breakfast. It was still chilly out which made it a perfect morning for oatmeal.

I used our jet boil and added 1/2c mix of rolled oats and oat bran with water and soymilk. At the end of cooking i stirred in 2-3T raw protein, protein powder. I think it kind of has an oat-like flavor, so i dont really notice it mixed in at all.

I topped it with banana, strawberries and justins maple almond butter.

After breakfast, we packed warm clothes and food and were off to the festival until late saturday night.

I picked up kale chips from the steaming bean coffe shop. They make them in house and the were crazy delicious. I cant go a week without my kale!

The weather was nice yesterday. Sunny and hot but there was a steady stream of clouds that helped keep us cool.

Right now, we're grabbing breakfast and coffee in town and then we're heading out for a hike. Then, a little more music and we leave monday morning.

The best hiking hairdo? French braid!
