the first wedding shoot {preview}

While I sort through + edit over 3,000 wedding photos I had to share a little preview.  Wedding photography is no joke.  Ten hours of running around trying to capture a couples’ wedding day is one of the most intimidating things I have ever done.  Ever.  Also one of the most exhausting.

But I think I kind of loved it.

Oh my goodness! You're such a beauty! Looks like you had a fabulous day. Thanks for sharing!
This venue looks familiar... I think one of my friends got married here a few years ago, and I attended. They live in Arvada now but did live in Estes Park. These pictures are beautiful, I think that you did a great job!

Ashley--> What a coincidence!

I love her necklace!! How unique! Stunning pictures, you really captured it!! First of many :)

Ashley--> It's actually called a Thali necklace and it's given to the bride from the groom's family during the wedding ceremony. It's from a Sri Lankan wedding ritual. Very beautiful!

Hey Ashley, I "awarded" you a Versatile Blogger Award! To see what that means, visit this post on my blog:

On the one hand I am thrilled to share your blog with my readers because I like it so much, but on the other hand I am sorry because I realize this is kind of like those silly chain letters I always threw away when I was younger. :) If you would rather not post about this on your blog, I will not be offended in the least. Just wanted to include you on my list of favorites, that is all!

Let me know if you have any questions I can answer, though I don't know much about this thing myself. :) Have a good day!

Ashley--> Thank you so much for the kind words on your blog. Much appreciated!

Gorgeous photos!!! They're all so good. It looks like you did an amazing job! I'm sure the couple (not to mention family and friends) will be thrilled with them!
Not that there was ANY doubt whatsoever, but you have done an incredible job of the photos! (from what I've seen anyway, LOL). The bride and groom will be overjoyed with them I am sure! You captured some really rare and fun moments!
First time shooting a wedding? You could have fooled me. :D Beautiful. You got a LOT of talent. Capturing the the candid moments. . . . to grabbing the scene at hand. wow. Great job! I would have used you if you lived here in CA ;)
